You are now able to order turkey online for "curbside" pick up. Once the order is complete, we will contact you to arrange payment and provide pick up instructions. Pick up days are Thursday - Saturday and orders may need to be placed 1 week in advance. Orders for Brantford can be picked up at the market on Fridays & Saturdays.
Our 60/40 breast and thigh roast is raw, unprocessed, boneless, skin-on breast and thigh meat placed side by side, wrapped in a netting, and ready for the oven. We make them from 2-10 lbs, and the rule of thumb is approximately 1/2 lb per person.
Fresh or thawed:
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place in roasting pan with a small amount of water and butter or margarine.
Season and cover loosely with tin foil.
Insert pop-up timer in the breast meat.
1 kg - 1.5-2.5 hrs.
2 kg - 2.5-3.5 hrs
3 kg - 3-3.5 hrs
4 kg - 3.5-4 hrs
Minimum internal temperature should be 170°F.
