Online ordering is available for in store pick up and curbside delivery at our retail store in Talbotville and for pick up at The Brantford Farmer's Market booth. All orders are frozen unless otherwise requested.
Our 60/40 breast and thigh roast is raw, unprocessed, boneless, skin-on breast and thigh meat placed side by side, wrapped in a netting, and ready for the oven. We make them from 2-10 lbs, and the rule of thumb is approximately 1/2 lb per person.
Fresh or thawed:
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Place in roasting pan with a small amount of water and butter or margarine.
Season and cover loosely with tin foil.
Insert pop-up timer in the breast meat.
1 kg - 1.5-2.5 hrs.
2 kg - 2.5-3.5 hrs
3 kg - 3-3.5 hrs
4 kg - 3.5-4 hrs
Minimum internal temperature should be 170°F.
